Pamuya Kiva Dances

pamuya kachina

Hilili Kachina, also known as the Witch Kachina, came from the Zuni to the Hopi. He is a rare Kachina that appears at night in the Kiva dances during the Second Mesa. He is known as the Witch Kachina, and is regarded with suspicion. He makes the women shudder and draw back when he appears. This Kachina appears in the "Witch Dances" Kiva dances and Plaza dances.
