Scholarships
The department offers several merit scholarships to students once they are in the program. CSUEB administers need-based financial aid. Below are a few examples of scholarships available to Economics students.
Distinguished Graduate Scholar in Economics
- Awarded to the two master's students with the highest GPAs in the core microeconomics and econometrics sequences
- Consideration is automatic
Joseph Fuhrig Private Enterprise Graduate Scholarship
- Awarded annually to at least one master's student with a GPA over 3.5
- Preference given to those with an interest in classical liberalism
