Faculty Details
Eve Marie Little
Eve Marie Little brings a combination of 15 years of experience in both the Hospitality and Recreation industries as well as a deep passion for teaching college students. Before joining our Hospitality Management faculty, she taught at Kookmin University in Seoul, South Korea and the Conrad N. Hilton School of Hotel and Restaurant Management at the University of Houston.
Prior to moving to California, Ms. Little was the Executive Director of the Texas Dragon Boat Association and organized numerous cultural festivals and dragon boat paddling competitions along with the special events and foreign affairs for the Consulate of Ghana in Houston, Texas. She also worked in Peru and Thailand in the tourism sector of those countries.
Her hospitality and event planning industry experience includes working at the NASA Johnson Space Center Conference Center and at the Landry’s Signature Downtown Aquarium as well as the event planner for several diplomats in the Houston area.
Her special areas of interest include Event and Festival Planning, Tournament Organization, International Tourism, Sustainable Tourism, Catering Management, Right of Passage Tourism specifically the Funeral Industry, and Spanish in the Hospitality Industry. She also teaches at Mission College in the Hospitality and Culinary Department in Santa Clara, CA.
