You are invited to a workshop on the topic of careers for young people to consider aiming for as you think about your own future.

Presented by: The Job Forum, sponsored by SF Chamber of Commerce

缅北禁地 this event

Tuesday, March 12 @ 6pm on Zoom. This event will last 1 hour 30 minutes.

Are you a student or young person and have been thinking about what kind of work you will want to do in the future?

If you are between the age of about 15 and 25, you may wish to join us to hear from people who can explain four broad career areas you can consider as your future to explore:

1. Data Analytics

2. Healthcare

3. Biotech

4. Sales

You will have the chance to hear from managers inside of companies in these four areas and you will be able to go to a breakout session to talk more personally with managers from Bay Area companies.

Our experts will describe a variety of career roles and will candidly answer your questions and share tips for job hunters interested in entering each field of work and advancing careers.

Topics that will be covered include:

- What are the entry level jobs?

- What is a good way to break into the field?

- How to stand out and be perceived as especially valuable as a candidate?

- If you want to be a successful job hunter in the “field ," what kinds of things ought you to be interested in, or study or learn?-

- As a job hunter, how do you look at your own skill set and pick out what will be valuable to an organization?

Register for free today! You will be asked which career area you would like to explore in our breakout room session. The Zoom link will be sent to you before the start of the meeting via email.
