Commuting to Campus Just Got Easier!
At CSUEB, most of our students commute to campus from home or work. With our beautiful hilltop location overlooking the Bay Area, you have multiple ways to get to campus: drive/carpool, free Campus Shuttle from BART, AC Transit Bus Line 60. CSUEB is a great choice for commuters who want to spend less time in their cars, and more time finishing their degrees.

Pioneer Commute
The new platform Pioneer Commute recognizes and rewards your actions to reduce the traffic, parking and environmental impacts of driving alone. Whether you’re coming to campus daily, learning and working from home, choosing lower-impact modes every day or mixing up your commute, you can reduce your impact and earn rewards!
Pioneer Commute is built on the RideAmigos platform and provides trip-planning, trip logging and ride-matching to earn prizes and incentives. Participants must actively log their trips by the last day of each month to qualify for incentives.

University Library
The University Libraries at 缅北禁地 are the heart of the campus, inspiring students, faculty, and staff to engage in the adventure of intellectual discovery and creation. The University Libraries moved into the CORE in Fall of 2022 and continue to build on our commitment to providing inclusive, expert, and timely support for the campus community’s research, teaching, and service needs. The library has , you can and is home to SCAA Tutoring center on the third floor.
North & South University Unions
The 缅北禁地 University Union is the gathering place for the campus community and its guests. Primarily student funded and supported, it is a place where students, faculty staff, alumni, and the community meet for meals, programs, services, and informal interaction. The University Union is a great place to catch up on some studying, meet up with friends and classmates, grab a bite to eat, use the ATM, or take a break between classes. The UU also features free phone charging stations, plenty of seating/study areas, and Game Zone room.

On Campus Gym - (RAW)
Work out and then shower before heading back home! The Recreation and Wellness Center (RAW) offers a number of recreation programs including intramural sports, group exercise, and personal training. Currently enrolled Cal State East Bay students may use the RAW at no additional cost, provided they have paid the quarterly UU/REC fee.
Student Center for Academic Achievement (SCAA)
The SCAA provides 1:1 appointments with Subject Tutors, Writing Tutors, and Peer Academic Coaches. Same-day options are available! (We no longer have a 24-hour advanced booking restriction.) Make an appointment today through our scheduling app!
Student Leadership and Involvement Center (SLIC)
Commuters get involved, too! The Office of Student Leadership and Involvement is here to help you find or form clubs and organizations, explore the full range of on-campus activities, and get the college experience you want.
Career Empowerment Center (CEC)
The Career Empowerment Center (CEC) is here to help you make sense of your possible career options and provide you with the tools and connections to support yourself through a lifetime of career changes. No matter where you are in your academic or postgraduate journey, it’s never too soon to start planning your next career step. Student Health & Counseling Services
Student Health & Counseling Services is a fully accredited by outpatient clinic staffed by Board Certified Physicians, and licensed Nurse Practitioners, Medical Staff, and Counselors. Student Health & Counseling Services offers basic medical care for most illnesses and injuries and various elective services.
Associated Students Inc. (ASI)
ASI prioritizes students’ needs and advocates for them through lobbying. ASI provides significant services that improve the holistic educational experience that enables student success. Join student government or check out the ASI Services and Discounts page to see what might interest you.
Campus Safety
CSUEB has one of the safest campuses in the CSU system. Our University Police Department operates on campus 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, year-round.
